The day may have been chilly, but no one on this shoot had a problem staying warm ;o) The fog didn’t hold this family back…something tells me, nothing holds them back .  I could have photographed them ALL day!  Their boys told a story with every turn~I got my cardio in for the day & I couldn’t get enough!  I made sure to get a few photos of them as a couple, as that’s what started it all, anyway..right?  The results? Well, you tell me….it’s like they fell in love all over again & I was blessesd to capture it <3  Thank you, Cathy & Kyle!

I believe families are the foundation of who we are.  Growing up, my mom found herself as a single mother for a period of time. Although we felt the pain and loss of a father figure in our lives, she made a simple decision that helped to mold the way in which we defined “family”….she had an annual photograph taken of us.  Back then it was an “Olan Mills” special which was displayed on our wall, proudly.  That simple gesture spoke volumes to me.  So, whether you’re a family of 10, 4, or 2, make it a point to capture these moments..
