There is a moment in life when we ask ourselves, “Where did all the time go?”  This, my friends, was MY moment.  When my daughter asked if she could do a photoshoot with me for her 13th Birthday, there was no question. Of course!  We were both on the same page when it came to the concept, “Mad Hatter in the Circus”…orrr something like that 😉  I knew the location~vines & weathered wood~PERFECT!  Off we went…I took out my camera & started shooting….she posed, I clicked….she moved, I clicked…she laughed, I clicked….done.  It wasn’t until later that night, (as I am always WAY too excited to wait) when I started editing, that it hit me.  It was like a punch to the gut.  This little girl, MY little girl, is a TEENAGER!  Suddenly, I was facing the question of, “Where did all the time go?”  The answer, my friends, is in the photographs.  My memory serves me well, but this mind is built like an Apple~only so many gigabytes, so the only way I can remember the minute details of how her hair glows in the sun before she decides to dye it later, or how pure her skin is before she adds make-up, is with photographs.
