Well, Happy Valentine’s Day! So, does it count as shopping BEFORE Vday if you went shopping at midnight? Ugh. Not sure how it ends up like this EV-ER-Y year, but it does. I thought for sure this was the year that I would finally be a grown up & shop a week earlier. I think a part of me becomes this rebel, refusing to be lured into the “Hallmark” holiday stuff, but alas…I have wee ones & they don’t buy the “it’s just another card holiday” story. They want the goods…and I don’t blame them. So, where did I find myself on the eve of this Special oh, so Holy..ahem..Holiday? Yep, at Walmart. Can I just tell you that even the procrastinators were already done with their shopping by the time I got there! No joke. I was THE last person in line in the store, behind the employees. *face*palm* Now, I am a testament to the fact that there is still hope for my children to NOT turn out so…how should I say this…un planner-like as their mother because well, my Mom is the planner of all planners. In fact, I am certain she has Christmas gifts already beginning to fill the dark organized corners of her closet. No joke. So, see there IS hope & I’m holding out for it. As for me, I’m just thankful that I can make all of you look good (your welcome), because no matter how late, rushed, procrastinator like, or disorganized you feel, I am almost sure that you can not say you were the last one at Walmart tonight. However, if you can~then we should talk..I just met you & I think I love you. Oh, yeah..one more thing…please pray that I don’t end up on Wal-mart people.com…kthxbye!
