Meet Kim and Mark.  Their story is one that touches so many hearts, as it’s one of hope, loss, love, pain, joy, grief, but above all; beauty.  You see, Kim & Mark were blessed with their firstborn daughter, Makenzie, who passed away shortly after her Birth Day for a cause which went undetected until later…after a seemingly healthy birth.  Unfortunately, I can imagine this kind of grief and devastation…as I know many of you can.  So, when a dear friend of theirs asked me to capture their precious moments of expecting their second child, I was honored.

Meeting Kim & Mark for the first time at the location, you can feel the joy and warmth of their light.  They have a beauty that is pure.  I am so excited for their future, to see how their story unfolds and grateful that they decided to include a photo of their daughter for the shoot.  She is and will forever be a beautiful part of their story.
