Strawberry picking is annual activity for us…at least since we had our third child, Annalise. To Annalise, Strawberry picking is a way of life. Period. I believe one day, she will have a Strawberry field of her own, but until then, we have to take her and pick ripe, juicy, organically grown, super sweet tasting Strawberries…oh, darn 😉 HA! The field was the perfect size, as this was our son, Adam’s first year at it. We had to give him a crash course in Strawberry picking…for 20 month olds 😉 …No green…just red…repeat. & repeat. AND repeat. We may have ended up with a few green. Anyhow, this year my mom went with us & considering that I decided to make a personal photoshoot out of it, I was very thankful she did. It was a SUPER hot day in full sun, so I was glad that I grabbed my hat on the way out the door, as Annalise definitely needed it. All in all, it was a great time! As I have mentioned before, we are big supporters of supporting local businesses, so we found organic Strawberry picking at the stand I frequent to buy all our produce, eggs, milk, & honey. We love Chesapeake Bounty~they even tell you where the produce comes from…it’s a beautiful thing! If you’re local, you should check them out on Facebook for updates! Enjoy!
