I’ve had the pleasure of having this beautiful family as clients for months, now, as they chose to do the Baby Steps Package. Honestly, over the course of the past months, with all the planning, plotting, scouting, chatting, and emailing for this 9 month photo shoot, I consider them friends..and that’s the best part of what I do~the relationships. Truthfully, I’m not really a fan of the title “clients”, I mean after chatting via email or phone, and getting to know you for who you are…and sharing our thoughts, ideas, concerns, insecurities, laughs, and hopes…that makes us friends. Besides, if you’ve seen me on all fours barking like a dog on a public beach just to get that reaction from your littles, we are now officially “besties”. haha! Now you know 😉
Needless to say, Libby, has such a creative mind and between the two of us, we wanted to shove an eight hour day of shooting into about one…*ahem*…yeah, we’re crazy… buuut, we did it! In spite of weather threats & my first reschedule ev-er due to rain and maybe a hospital visit in between due to her Hunny not feeling well, it happened…we captured that little ray of Sunshine on the beach & the sunset the second time around was AHHHHmazing. Not to mention, we were able to schedule their shoot for when Grandma and Libby’s Nephew were in town! I happen to love generation shoots, so I was one happy camper. Especially since the love and admiration that was felt between this mother and daughter was beautiful. Yes, tears were exchanged, but beautiful tears…filled with love and pure appreciation for one another. It was also great when I told Libby it was her turn in front of the lens…alone…it was totally unexpected, but since her Hunny wasn’t feeling well, I took the opportunity to capture her beauty. Which she totally is~in every sense of the word. I think I know, now, where her daughter gets her graceful modeling skills from 😉
Take a moment and Enjoy!

Thank you, Libby, for enjoying this creative process as much as I have. Thank you, Z Family, for such a sweet time full of giggles & memories…xo ~Cat
