The Fair was in town and after passing it a number of times, I couldn’t get the thought of doing a concept shoot at the fair out of my mind.  So, I mentioned the idea to my kids who were in the car with me…and my oldest son encouraged me to turn around & not wait.  So, I listened.  I made the U-turn & asked the owner of the Fair if I could use the fair while no one was around….I mean, doesn’t everyone want to spend time at an abandoned Fair..?? Yeah, I thought I was the only one 😉  haha!  Not sure what goes through my mind, sometimes, but I know that if I don’t follow through with the visions & ideas that pop in my mind, it bothers me…until I make it happen.  Well, now the dilemma was trying to find willing models…an engaged couple, a Senior, etc…but, in less than two days & early on a Weekday during summer…yeaaah..  There were a few responses, but everyone had schedule conflicts, so I asked my daughter for her help & a family friend that we’ve known since they were little.  I was SO grateful they agreed!  They were great sports~and naturals.  For this shoot, I really wanted to experiment with different angles, editing, and light.  So, I took my creative license and had fun with creating a fun, colorful, and playful shoot…with it’s serious moments, of course.  😉   Joey is just a great guy and super easy to work with.  He even had a few great ideas of his own!  Alexia is actually my introvert…but she gets it…she gets my vision, every time.  Sometimes, I hardly have to say a word & the girl knows what I’m looking for…I love it!  Needless to say, I think they agreed that it was a good, relaxed, and fun time~a great way to end a summer.  I’m thinking you’ll be seeing more of them in the future…{right, guys??} 😉
