Mothers have the most amazing job, ever.  Just ask yours 😉  So, it was a no brainer when this Mommy group needed a photographer for their event that I would offer.  They were all there for the Big Latch On~a  beautiful global cause & global purpose of proving that breastfeeding is a natural way to nurture your baby…not the exception.  There were also quite a few of baby wearing moms…which happens to fascinate me the most.  Baby wearing saved my sanity when I was  new mother and it just seemed to make the most sense to me.  Why wouldn’t I keep my little lovelies close to me as much as possible?  That’s where they were happiest, which happened to saved my sanity.  Now, please realize that I’m all about a good playpen and down time, as well, but baby wearing always proved to be the best route for a happy and very content baby 🙂  With all that being said, my choice of “baby wearing” was a sling which was made by my wonderful friend, Lori, and lasted through 3 three children, as I used a different style with my first.  Nowadays, moms have multiple slings & wraps!   It’s so fun seeing all the different fabrics, but even more interesting was watching how they used them!  Seriously impressed.  almost made me want another so I could join the growing trend…I said ALMOST 😉  (for now, I’ll just borrow the ones I get to photograph 😉
