Up, up, and away!!  Nothing can keep this little slice of sunshine from growing up…no matter how much I have tried convincing her otherwise. haha.   It has been SO much fun coming up with ideas for each of her milestone sessions, as she’s one of my “Baby Steps” clients. I love that it has  allowed me to see this little chunk of love grow up, capturing as much of it as possible.  I knew exactly what I wanted to do for this shoot and with a little help, we pulled it off!

Being from Southern California, hot air balloons are everywhere.   Watching them float over the vineyards was always magical and so storybook-like…so when Yvette expressed to me in the beginning that she loves vintage and completely trusts me, I couldn’t wait to make it happen.   This family is so fun to work with.  Not only are the littles super adorable, but they have the sweetest parents.  The love they have for their children wasn’t so hard to capture, it’s just natural for them…as is laughing…I decided to do something I rarely do~show a few outtakes and behind the scenes shots.  Almost every session has a few outtakes, as stuff happens, but honestly, these just happen to be adorable.  So, if you could use a giggle or two, be sure to scroll all the way down…and have a beautiful day!

What. You didn’t know that reflectors double as child distraction tools? Thanks to my assistant aka my daughter for entertaining the littles whether they’re in front of the camera or not. You rock, my love!
