When photographing children, flexibility is necessary and having fun is key! These littles are full of fun and I loved every minute of getting to know them. We played and ran in the powdery sand and warm sun. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of not only getting to know them, but their mom, as well and I’m so grateful they’re in our world. Courtney is my youngest’s pre-k teacher when they attend their turoriol once a week, and I have to tell you, she is awesome. Such a graceful heart and a true joy to know. Not to mention, she and her husband are incredible runners! It’s awesome when a couple share a passion. Their littles are even getting into it. So cool, right? Anyhow, believe it or not, this isn’t on an island somewhere or in California…sadly..*sniff*sniff*..but in good ole Southern Maryland! I know, right?? Between the sun, the sand, the adorable wardrobe (good job, Courtney!), and romance between those two, you would think we were on the shores of beautiful Maui….buuuut no. haha! Either way, take a moment to enjoy and if you find yourself closing your eyes and imagining you and your family…orrr maybe just the two of you on a far off tropical island with the wind blowing through your hair, the sun kissing your skin, and your toes buried in the toasty sand, I’ll never tell 😉
