If you have ever questionned the tourist coined motto for Virginia, “Virginia is for Lovers”, I gaurantee this session will convince you of it’s validity.

These two. *sigh*

  When Samantha asked if they could have their session in the beautiful town of Alexandria AND when she agreed to a sunrise Engagement session, I was ecstatic! Well, maaaaybe not exactly about the waking up at 4:30am part, but you get the idea 😉 … The trust they placed in me to get up before 6am for a Sunrise session was not taken lightly and so appreciated.

  If you haven’t been to Alexandria, it’s a town rich in history with cobblestone streets, houses in rows, flags proudly displayed, and even real gas lamps. All of this is nestled right on the Potomac River. It’s really a pretty sight to see, so when I showed up to Samantha wearing this beautiful bordeaux colored gown~there may have been a slight squeal of excitement on my part. I mean, could she be any more gorgeous?! …and that fiance of hers! Eric seriously rocked the shoot, keeping Samantha smiling and glowing. Yeah, it was perfect. They were perfect. I don’t know about you, but I think these images proved every moment of missed sleep to be so worth it! To say that I can’t wait for their wedding at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel, is an understatement. June cannot come fast enough! Oh, and one more thing…let me just say, I’m going to have to agree with you morning peeps; one can get a lot more accomplished in their day when they rise before the sun…here’s to more Sunrise Sessions!
