I’m not sure how many of you are familiar with our youngest daughter, but if I was to describe her to you, I would say that she is a lot of sweet mixed with spice, she’s all about the sparkle and isn’t afraid to play in the dirt~especially if that means she’s planting something, she loves to sing and dancing is a must, she’s strong willed, yet tender hearted, and although she loves her mermaid tail blanket~she wouldn’t hesitate to give it away if it meant making someone smile. She loves her mermaids, but dreams of Paris, she has a creative mind, a servant’s heart, and can toss puns around like confetti, oh! and she has an obsession with glitter (much to her father’s dismay
). She is all girl, but she can stand up to the toughest, especially if they stand against her best friend~her little brother. She is a force to be reckoned with~and she wants to share all of this with the world…
I’m not sure how many of you have a super creative child, but if you do, then you usually recognize it around the time when they are able to decorate your shower curtain with lipstick or themselves with paints. Yeah. Good times. We’ve had a long, colorfully creative journey laced with frustration up until this point. There’s a fine line of correction and breaking a child’s spirit~especially when you’ve been entrusted with an independent creative one. So, being that I would find many messes from projects and creative moments and having been the canvas of her make up artistry, we decided to take the advice of many others and put her focus all of her energy to creating a blog. This is her project. She chose her “name”, designed, wrote, and chose the blog & projects herself. I help with photography and approval of content. It’s in the very early stages, and we are going to attempt to be consistent with it, but for now we hope you are able to enjoy all that is our Glitter Mermaid!
With love & thanks,
Cat xx
