It was a Minolta 35mm and my Mom would keep it next to the microwave, on the shelf under the cookbooks. Every holiday, every milestone, every event, it would be there to capture every precious moment...and thus began my affection for photography. On our first Anniversary, my sweet Husband,
Andy, surprised me with my own Minolta! With it's interchangeable lenses and off camera flash, I was able to capture some of my own precious moments and wall decor for our first daughter's nursery. Since then, our daughter has grown and found her own love for photography, and is a huge inspiration to me. I'm excited to say that you may just meet her on the way, as we've recently been able to start working together. Here's to a Legacy of capturing Love!
I'M HERE TO capture this chapter in your love story legacy
I'M CAtalina! wife, mom, PHOTOGRAPHER, AND FRIEND
Dancing is my vice. I'm a Foodie to a fault. I'm into happily ever after, living life out loud, and always keeping it real~ which comes in handy with my family of 6...I have 4 littles..who insist on not being so little and teach me something new every day. I married my high school sweetheart, who claims he taught me to cook, who gave me my first film camera for our First Anniversary, and although he may not understand why I NEED more shoes, still dances with me in the kitchen, 24 years later.
As a hopeless romantic, I believe that there's a Fairytale hidden in every family and it's my job to capture it. As much as I love creating beautiful and timeless images, my passion lies in creating relationships & capturing those moments which tell your story. That's what it's all about....you and capturing the moments which define you...
I look forward to meeting you!
I'm genuinely interested in your story. We all have one. I would love to hear yours!
Whether it's a coffee date with my husband, or a coffee break with friends, it's certainly my social drink of choice. Although, nothing compares to my mom's tea.
With one knee in the sand, Andy proposed to me as we watched the sunrise over the ocean...Having grown up in South Florida, living most of my married life in Southern California, and now residing in a coastal town, nothing calms my soul like the sound of crashing waves and salty air.
Life isn't easy and this journey is full of it's hills and valleys. There isn't a day when I haven't been grateful and blessed to know that with each step I take, I am never alone.
As a choreographer & instructor, I've been trained in dance since I was three. It's part of who I am & has proven to be helpful in creating a natural flow of posing and giving creative direction. So, whether it's in my kitchen or at a reception, there will be dancing!
